And we're back. Russell here with Canadian conservative, the Canadian conservative.substack.com. And it looks like the games are already starting to begin on the election interference. The liberal party continues to filibuster to not have Katie Telford testify. One of the Liberal Party MPs, Ruby Shouta said that there shouldn't be a public inquiry into election interference because of the costs associated with it. Citing that the LRT public inquiry costs about $15 million. The irony is not lost that all of a sudden the Liberals care suddenly about fiscal responsibility. This, of course, was the same day that it was announced that the spending has been disproportionately higher than any other prime minister's office and government in history. And that wasn't even counting COVID. Suddenly, fiscal responsibility is something we need to be concerned with. So I'm not buying it. It's just really sad, because this is how we end up with people getting radicalized to the idea that our elections actually were meddled with is when the people that are supposed to be open and transparent 2015 Promise most open and transparent government in history, and I betcha people are looking back now when you know that Stephen Harper's saying, Well, you know, those muzzled scientists, that was the least of our worries compared to what was coming up. But hindsight is always 2020. Video has come out showing that Michael Cooper was asking his liberal counterparts Michael Cooper's conservative, was asking his liberal counterparts about China and someone that was refused a visa. And he wasn't very nice about it. And so these two liberal parliamentarians took offense to it. Jennifer O'Connell, started chastising, saying that Michael Cooper had committed micro aggressions. Of course, right now, we don't know what the extent of Chinese influence is in our electoral process. We don't know that. The questions are not answered. We don't know a lot of things right now. The Liberals are not cooperating. And the big push right now is to deflect back to crap like MIG tau and hashtag gate and microaggressions and misogyny. I mean, Margaret Thatcher would be embarrassed. And then after Jennifer O'Connell had her speech, her spiel about micro aggressions. Sherry rimando, who was another Liberal MP, began her tirade, basically saying the same thing. But she was like really, really vocal, very heightened, kind of yelling near the end. And then she was demanding an apology. They always want conservatives to apologize over something. It was the same thing I criticized pure in the House of Commons, when he apologized over the MiG tau hashtag gate, non scandal that got turned into something because the Conservatives acknowledged it. It's just more smoke and mirrors, just more deflection from the actual issues at hand. It's embarrassing. They should be embarrassed. It makes us look incredibly weak on the world stage. And to make things even worse, the NDP got in on the bandwagon with Rachel Blaney who got in front of the camera and again, demanding an apology from the Conservatives for mean comments for micro aggressing. These parliamentarians during a committee, the Standing Committee on procedural in house affairs. You know, there's women in law enforcement that every single day they go to work, they get threatened with all sorts of insane things. They get insulted, they get threatened with rape, all sorts of awful terrible things. And they go back to work every single day and they make a pittance of what these parliamentarians make a mere fraction which by the way, April 1, they're all their paychecks go up. So on we get a increase on our carbon tax. So that's just a little reminder there. Little something more to dig the burn in a little bit more about how someone can be called out in In parliament very, very lightly, and throw a fit, making the money that they make. Whereas people that don't make anywhere near the amount of money that they make that tolerate an insane amount of abuse in the workplace on the daily. Well, they don't get the same sort of protections, I guess, the same ability to criticize. I'm not buying it. It's really sad. The NDP has jumped on the bandwagon. And the last thing that Michael Cooper needs to do is apologize. If he apologizes, I will be incredibly disappointed. Conservatives, they just need to stick to their guns right now. They need to keep the pressure on at all costs, do not let off this gas pedal continue on. Simply do not be distracted by anything else they try to throw out there because they're going to try to throw anything out that they can right now. They're looking for a life raft. They're looking for an exit door. Really, they're waiting for someone from, you know, the parliamentary protection group to open up an exit door so they can all get out of there as quickly as possible. You can see it on their faces, they're worried. And frankly, Canadians are worried Canadians are worried about their election. They're worried about the extent of foreign interference, not only in their election, but how much foreign interference is going on in this country right now. We still have suspected Chinese police stations around the country that the Prime Minister says is being investigated. Why is this happening? Why is this still allowed? It looks like the circus is just getting started. We're just seeing the opening act. And we got lot more to go from here. But it's going to be interesting, that's for sure. At the end of the day, though, we have to go through this is painful, it is going to be so painful, but we have to go through this. And then after we go through this, we have to steel man our electorial process. So this never happens again. This cannot happen again. Because as I said my podcast episode yesterday if people don't believe that their elections are valid, they don't believe in the validity of their elections. Then do we really have a country do we have a government do we have democracy? Big Questions? Anyways, that's all I got for now. Take care. Bye
